Congratulations to all of our riders at regionals and zones over the past two weekends!

Regionals

Seniors Kaitlyn Boggio and Ashleigh Bancel placed 1st and 2nd in open flat at regionals and qualified for zones. Sophomore Stephanie Consoli won her cross rails class, sophomore Rebecca Mazzaferro placed second in novice flat, and Samantha Stine won her walk-trot class!

   

  

 

Zones

UConn received high point team for our region and was able to send a team of riders to compete at zones. Riders Martine Maschio, Katie Shaffer, Monica Ambrozej, Samantha Calzone, Kaitlyn Boggio, and Marina Coleman represented UConn in their respective divisions where they received an overall placing of 4th.

Samantha Stine showed in the individual walk trot class where she placed in 3rd. Kaitlyn Boggio won the open flat. Rebecca Mazzaferro placed second in novice flat. Kaitlyn Boggio will be moving onto nationals in open flat as well as for the Cacchione Cup, Rebecca Mazzaferro will be moving onto nationals for novice flat.
