UCET had an impressive show this weekend at the Ethel Walker School.
Katie Shaffer, Barbara Hill, Naomi Lowe, Kaitlyn Boggio, Martine Maschio, Marina Coleman, Greer Lesnieski, Danielle Kerr, and Samantha Calzone were all awarded 1st place for their rides, congrats ladies!
UCET was awarded Reserve CHAMPION as a team, way to go UCET!
UCET had an incredible horse show this weekend. We had both the CHAMPION High Point Rider, Kaitlyn Boggio, as well as the CHAMPION High Point Team!
Kaitlyn Boggio, Samantha Prusak, Martine Maschio, Amy Hetherington-Coy, and Monica Ambrozej all won 1st place in their classes.

After a weekend off, UCET riders rode whole-heartedly at the Connecticut College horse show on Saturday. Two of our riders made it to the ride-off. Sam Prusak performed well, and Sarah Lerch was awarded Champion High Point Rider of the day!
Sarah Lerch, Sam Prusak, Dominique Martin, Marina Coleman, Barbara Hill, Amy Hetherington-Coy, and Monica Ambrozej were all awarded blue ribbons for their rides this show, congrats!
UCET has this weekend off from horse-showing, a nice little break halfway through the semester. Here is everyone who has qualified for regionals so far!

Yale very successfully hosted their first ever “Fall Festival” Horse Show today. UCET was awarded High Point Champion Team! We also had quite a few riders who placed 1st and 2nd in their classes, overall it was a great day. Great job and thanks again, Yale!
At the second show of the season, hosted by SHU and Yale, UCET was awarded Reserve High Point Champion! Congrats!
Our first show of the season was hosted by Post University on October 3rd. UConn came out on top, winning High Point Champion Team as well as High Point Champion Rider Kaitlyn Boggio!
We’re so excited that our team clinic with Kristen Abbatiello-Neff is underway! Kristen is the owner and trainer at Sea Horse Stables, located in Newtown, CT. She is “a lifelong equestrian and accomplished “A” circuit rider, Kristen has made a name for herself and trained in all disciplines of competition: pony club, hunters, jumpers, equitation, and dressage.”
We had a total of 42 riders try out on September 19th and welcomed 10 new riders to the team that day!
